Induction Day for New Shapers: A Reflection from Global Shapers Kochi Hub

From sun-filled rooms that sparked creativity to thoughtfully designed spaces that nurtured collaboration, our induction day exemplified how the right environment can amplify the impact of purpose-driven initiative.

Induction Day for New Shapers: A Reflection from Global Shapers Kochi Hub

On a sunny weekend, Global Shapers Community (GSC) Kochi Hub gathered at aikyam space for our induction program to welcome and onboard our newly selected volunteers, fondly known as 'Shapers'. GSC, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, is a network of young people driving dialogue, action, and change in cities around the world. As part of this global community, the Kochi Hub works on local projects that address pressing issues in our city, empowering young leaders to create a meaningful impact.

The induction event was filled with dynamic activities, team-building sessions, and collaborative workshops, all set in the welcoming and thoughtfully designed spaces of Aikyam. This event marked the start of an exciting journey for our new Shapers as they step into roles that will allow them to contribute to Kochi's growth and development.

Why aikyam space Was the Perfect Venue for Us

aikyam space provided just the right environment for our induction. The layout and structure of the space enhanced our event by facilitating smooth transitions between activities, discussions, and breakout sessions. The flexible room arrangements and ample natural light helped create a relaxed yet professional atmosphere, ideal for team-building and interactive sessions. The unique ambiance truly contributed to making the event both inspiring and productive.

Convenient Amenities for a Seamless Experience

One of the standout features of aikyam space is the array of essential resources provided, ensuring that events run smoothly and participants feel comfortable throughout the day. The venue offers a reliable high-speed internet connection, which was invaluable for us, allowing seamless coordination and access to online resources during our induction sessions.

The space is also equipped with modern audio-visual equipment, including a large-screen TV, which made it easy to display presentations, videos, and workshop materials. Comfortable seating and well-placed charging points throughout the venue added to the convenience, allowing participants to stay connected and engaged.

Additionally, aikyam space offers clean, well-stocked restrooms and ample drinking water stations, ensuring everyone’s basic needs are well taken care of. The attention to detail in these facilities made a significant difference, creating an environment that supported both productivity and comfort.

Feedback from Participants

Our new Shapers were quick to notice and appreciate the inviting vibe at aikyam space. They felt it had a refreshing warmth, balancing comfort and professionalism, which is often rare in conventional venues. The thoughtful touches, such as open seating and quiet corners, were well received, allowing participants to feel both connected and comfortable throughout the day.
