Make A Difference (MAD) is a youth-driven non-profit working to ensure positive outcomes for children in need of care and protection. Through a community of 2,000+ volunteers across 20 Indian cities, MAD provides mentorship, academic support, and transition readiness to help over 7,500 children break the cycle of poverty.

The MAD district meet-up ran a second day
On 26 October, we held the second day of the MAD District Meet-up. People discussed things, worked together, and shared what they knew. The sessions let people swap ideas and made connections stronger between those working for change in their communities.
Chapter leaders met for a quarterly district meeting
Quarterly district meetings brought together chapter leaders from across cities to present chapter updates, celebrate milestones, discuss challenges, brainstorm ideas, collaborate on ongoing projects and plan future initiatives. We also networked, bonded as a team and developed leadership.

Volunteers gathered to mark the end of their year
The event was held to mark the end of volunteering for 2025-2026. We brought the volunteers together to talk about what they did and thank each other.
Make A Difference closed its academic year with a celebration
The Year-End Celebration marked the final event of the academic year at Make A Difference. We brought volunteers together to reflect on their work, revisit the organisation’s impact, express gratitude toward one another and conclude the year on a positive note.
MAD's Leadership Circle planned its next season here
Make A Difference held its Leadership Circle at aikyam space on 22 July 2024. We invited a few volunteers alongside the fellows who oversee city operations. We reviewed the past season, brainstormed changes to the Life Skills and Learning & Development programmes, looked at volunteer onboarding and training, and discussed fundraising and partnerships with local schools.
