The cats have made themselves at home
Our little cat friends continue to make themselves at home at aikyam space. As a pet-friendly space, we are exploring small ways to make the environment even more welcoming for animals, creating a place where both people and pets can feel comfortable.
Tote and duffle bags placed at Local Sustainable Living
The stitching team placed their cut-piece tote bags and duffle bags at Local Sustainable Living . This is an opportunity to understand how the products are received, and if demand grows, the team plans to continue making more bags.
Five new bag designs started for an Onam event
The stitching team is working on five new bag designs for an upcoming Onam event by Local Sustainable Living . The bags are being made using handloom fabric and fabric cut pieces to showcase sustainable craftsmanship.
The dance group met after their first stage performance
After their first stage performance, the community dance group gathered at aikyam space to share their experiences and feedback. The discussion gave everyone an opportunity to celebrate what went well, reflect on areas for improvement, and learn from the experience together as they prepare for future performances.
