What is happening
Community program brings learning and conversations together
Community members came together at space for a day of learning, creative activities and conversation. Children took part in learning and creative sessions, while women joined a workshop focused on skills and livelihood opportunities. The program was designed to increase participation at the space, support children’s learning, and help women connect with each other and explore new possibilities.
Preparing the space for a community gathering
The team started preparing aikyam Space for an upcoming community program designed to bring people together. The gathering is planned as a space for community members to participate, get to know one another better, and gradually feel more connected to the space as their own.
Stitching team reviews designs, stock and upcoming stalls
The stitching team met to review current bag designs, rework a few of them, and plan a minimum stock level for regular sales. The discussion also covered upcoming events and stalls, production needs, and the financial side of preparing and selling the products.
Community students practice for an upcoming program
Community students came together for dance practice ahead of an upcoming program at aikyam Space. The sessions are also creating more time for the group to learn together, support one another, and build stronger connections through regular practice.
