It was in grade 10 that Jinso first started getting interested in technology. It was around this time that he got a laptop. He was also inspired by his cousin, who is a techie. Jinso completed his engineering degree from Government Engineering College, Barton Hill, Kerala. He has always been active in the open source community.
After becoming an aikyam fellow, Jinso learned how to communicate well with clients, understand their issues, and deliver appropriate solutions. He also got exposure in DevOps, in terms of development and programming, besides being trained in Frappe Frameworks. "There are lakhs of non-profit organisations in India. And most of them have no access to technology. So even the smallest help we can do for them translates to a huge impact on the ground," he says.
