This dimensional error was discovered when the cut pieces failed to fit the target design model, prompting a collaborative review of the templates and layout metrics. The team resolved the issue by creating precise new templates, recutting the fabric to 4.5 cm, and completing the assembly. Always cross-check the unit before cutting. The templates were 4.5 cm; read as 4.5 inches, a whole batch of fabric was cut to the wrong size and had to be recut.
