We achieved precise 4cm × 4cm base squares by ironing fabric onto stiff paper with adhesive backing, which provided structural consistency for assembly. Combining handloom fabric with canvas and paper layers created dense material resistance, making needle penetration difficult with standard hand tools. To maintain precision without straining the assembly, future iterations will explore finer needles and lightweight primary fabrics, reserving heavy handloom textiles exclusively for the final outer layers.
